Between the wish & the thing, life lies waiting....

We all wait a lot in our lives..from waiting for a bus/train,waiting for things to happen to waiting for the love of ur life. All waiting periods,irrespective of what it is have one thing in common-IMPATIENCE. Only when we are not patient enough for something to happen or someone to come, we start feeling that V r actually waiting. Uptil that time,we don't really care or give much importance to the fact that V r waiting or sometimes we completely 4get that v are waiting..
Most of the time waiting for something important is exciting and at the same time make u stressed out.I am trying to find some ways out of this impatient waiting.

The tension gets the better of u especially when u r waiting for something that will decide the rest of the future ahead of you.{or if u feel like it is going to decide}
So the first way out of waiting-stress is
1)Think about what will you do, if this particular event u r waiting for doesnot happen. Think about all possibilities and oppurtunities that u can make or can get. This will make u confident to face the situation of ur worst fear happening!!
I have tried this one...{I have to confess}It doesn't work much for me,mainly because I am so much in love with the situation I am going to have if everything goes according to the plan.
Next way, kind of work out for ALMOST everyone.
2)Think of negative sides of the thing u r waiting for. You probably{mosssttttt probably} will be thinking of only good sides of what u r waiting for...!!
Next one works for EVERYONE irrespective of what they are waiting for, its importance or what their character might be......
3) Distract yourself.{This can be thro' any activity which u can only do with ur brain involved in it along with u!!...For example,if u r going for a walk...u can walk without thinking about how u r walking..So this won't help.On other side consider blogging, u have to think about what u r going to write, how and when.}
Now u understood y I am writing all these right? u might be thinking how is it possible 4 me to distract when I am writing 'about it'. Let me tell u,I really feel relieved... I feel like I am sharing the tension and at the same time also feeling that this might comein handy for someone in my situation.This way I am feeling like I am helping someone in my situation but actually I am helping myself as well.

This post is actually an outcome of all the waiting I am doing for my 'visa'!!{U might have thought atleast once that the poor girl is waiting for her true love who happens to not love her back...but really ppl I am almost as impatient as that}.My visa is going to decide, everything about my life 'as for now'. Maybe sometime later I won't feel about this as important as I feel about it now.I am sitting biting my nails...prayiiingg for it to come ASAP.Meanwhile u all keep reading and showing ur love(by commenting ofcourse and if u feel I am worth it by clicking the follow button!!).

I feel sooo happy..

Today, I got my DEGREE certficate. The long awaited day...This whole post might look weird to some people but to me, its close to heart and I love this day just because of this. Now, I reallly feel like an engineer. When I look into it I get a feeling of pride and some relief too(thinking...wheehww..I somehow made it.)
The college life..the exams..assignments..sleepy eyes of exam days. I used to feel that exam days are the best days for sleep. The bed looks more tempting than anytime around the year!!. But we all used to have a lot of sleepless nights. But when there is no exam then its just 'masti' all the time. I like the word 'masti' very much. Its the Hindi word for fun. But I will not say its my favourite word. My favourite word would be..I don't know. I have never thought ab't it till now. May be sometime later I can find it out and tell you guys.
Anyways 4 years of toiling hard(sleeping,talking,watching movies etc all the time and studying only during exams does qualify as 'toiling' right?) has come to an end and here I am emerging as a Computer engineer to world full of competition. But Its nice just to take part, I am qualified to take part in it. This makes me happy...even if i maynot become a winner.

Love,

The great escape...!!

Today something terrifying happened which made me feel 'what the heck just happened?' ....When I am at office, I take lunch from a small restaurant which is a couple of metres away from the office. On the opposite side of the road there is a well known church. It is known to be a place of miracles and is never empty. I was walking back to my office after taking lunch from the usual place, happily, after saying a goodbye to the hotel uncle(No idea what his name is..) with a small smile. I just casually looked to the side of the church.. I felt I am not giving much time to god and this is not good. So I stood there and decided to go and pray for some time. I was crossing the road. I looked to the right side. There were no vehicles. I crossed and stood in the middle of the road to cross the other side. As I turned to the left to look whether there is any vehicle, I saw a Bus and two motorcycles coming together. I stepped a little to the back so that all the three can go without..Hitting me!! Suddenly I don't know from where another bus(Let us say bus no:2) is coming.........................I went blank..If i step forward then one of the motorbikes or bus will hit me. If I step back or stand there itself this bus no.2 will hit me. First I thought bus no:2 will adjust away from me and go but with dismay I realised that the driver of bus no:2 is blind(or I am nano small!!) .He was driving as if I don't exist, straight into me!!

I closed my eyes and stepped forward, hoping that 2 motorbikes will be definitely better than a Bus speeding above 100kms/hr. Luckily, with god's grace..motorbikes managed to avoid me and here i am.... writing this. Otherwise...I would have been in a mortuary or ICU of some hospital.

All this happened within a span of 30 seconds or something less than 1 minute. In that minute I saw my body smashed by the bus, nothing leftover, even to do the final sacrament. I felt as if god really wanted me dead and then at the last moment he decided otherwise...!! Really how stupid is this life? We plan for atleast 5 years in future. But who the hell knows whether we are in this world for the next moment? So this weekend,I have come to a decision to live my life- my way and to the fullest(Ofcourse, without hurting others). 'Coz we never know when is the time fixed for the death chariot to take us away from this beautiful world....Till that day, that moment, keep loving and be lovable...!!

Most Memorable Day of my Life

When the 21st candle standing for 21 years of my life burned away, I was the most happiest person in this whole world. The reason was my chechi and my gang(we are 6 ppl me including, who call ourselves a gang..my greatest friends). They planned a surprise birthday party. This was the most happiest and the most memorable day of my life.

That day morning, chechi and amma(my mother,alphy manjooran) asked to me to dress up. Just for the sake of cutting cake. Usually,we celebrate it ourselves.Sometimes we don't even cut cake. Achan(My father,James Kulathunkal) is against celebrating birthdays. He says, birthdays are sad reminders of death coming closer!! That's another way of looking at it..Though a bit weird way..hi hi.He was always different from us.. So lets leave it. Coming back to the day, the first surprise was when an anonymous guy turned up at the door with a bunch of flowers. I thought that was it. The big surprise!! I was happy and I took it and I read the card, which said:" ente daivam thanna poovinu"(Meaning:" To the flower that god gave me"). I was so touched. It was ofcourse arranged by my chechi. I looked at her and smiled,We hugged. She said 'Happy Birthday'. Then came the biggest surprise of all when I found out my friends in the kitchen!! I remember myself screaming and laughing together with everyone of them.Then I blew the candles and went on to cut the cake. At that moment I was wondering whether anyone in this whole world can love me like my sister do, whether anyone in this whole world can have such great friends??? I still wonder and I love them more. Each time I think about this day, it brings a smile to my face. Don't you think I am lucky to have such a great amma,chechi,achan and friends? I really think so.
Hopefully, I made you remember about your happiest day...Why don't you post it and give me the link as a comment to this post?...Takecare.
Love,
